Wikipedia Reliability Infographics

Responsiblities: Code Design UI-UX

Project Overview

The goal for this project was to expose the true accuracy of information on Wikipedia. The objective is to directly challenge the perceptions of professors, mainstream media, and parents through the use of graphic models. These included a flowchart, map, timeline, diagram, and table. For the models to be effective, I had to start with lots of research, notes, and wireframes.

Most importantly the design needed to show that the information was coming from an unbiased point of view. I accomplished that in the layout with the use of symmetry. This allowed no room for a rebuttal from opposing points of view. The three key pieces of information that are conveyed include; the process of editing a Wikipedia article, how Wikipedia is evolving human knowledge, and an extensive comparison of Wikipedia vs. conventional methods of research.
